EXCLUSIVE: FilmSharks has acquired the worldwide sales rights, excluding Latin America, of the police thriller Singular Crime (An Argentine Crime)Directed by Lucas Combina.
Based on the best-seller by Reynaldo Sietecase, the film follows two lawyers who will try to solve the case of the disappearance of a wealthy businessman while facing the interference of a police officer. The film was released in local theaters by Warner Bros. Pictures earlier this month and will be available exclusively on HBO Max in Latin America.
“We are happy to be chosen by these well-known companies to handle their international sales,” said Guido Rud of FilmSharks. “We are one of the few Word Sales agencies that have agreements in place to represent their films in local languages, including Warners; Sony; Disney; Televisa-Videocine; Fox; Antenna3; Banijay; balloon; ITV among other players.
The film is produced by Juan Pablo Buscaini, Pol Bossi-Cabe Bossi, Tomás Yankelevich, Peter Bevan and Mariana Sanjurjo. The writers are Jorge Bechara, Matías Bertilotti and Sebastián Pivotto. The film stars Nicolas Francella (The Tale of the Weasels)Dario Grandinetti (Wild Tales)Matthias Mayer (Iosi The Repentant Spy)and Luis Lucas (Time of Braves).
