kevin federline revealed his feelings about Britney Spears in a new preview ahead of her revealing interview with 60 minutes Australia, released on Wednesday, August 31. In interview clips of him, Kevin, 44, admitted that there were times when he sympathized with his ex-wife. “He was mortified for her. I really was,” he said. “I still feel bad for her.”
While Kevin didn’t explain exactly why he felt bad for Britney, 40, it seems likely he was referring to her long-term conservatorship, from which the singer was released in November 2021. The dancer’s relationship with Britney is showed in the preview, some clips showed Kevin dealing with different problems. “I had to worry about them. I couldn’t get involved,” he said in another clip. “It was amazing until it stopped being.”
In clips released before the current preview, Kevin opened up about his ex-wife’s conservatorship and even stated that he felt that jamie Spears, Britney’s dad “saved” the singer when he put her under guardianship. “I feel like he saved her back then,” she said.
Another segment that has been previewed showed Kevin talking about his ex-wife having a strained relationship with their two children. be, 16, and Jayden, 15. “It’s been a few months since you’ve seen her,” he said at one point. When Kevin revealed that the kids hadn’t talked to her mom, Britney responded on her Instagram Stories. “I am saddened to hear that my ex-husband has decided to speak out about the relationship between me and my children,” she wrote at the time.
After the first previews of Kevin’s interview dropped, a source close to the “Piece of Me” pop star revealed to hollywoodlife exclusively that Britney was surprised that Kevin spoke publicly about the drama between the singer and her children. “For [Kevin] Doing this interview shows her that he doesn’t respect her,” they said. “She loves [her sons] more than anything in the world and has done everything possible to be the best mom for them. She feels that other people have helped them decide for her and it’s not fair.”
