Lindsay Arnold Cusick has joined Sharna Burgess in opting out of the upcoming season of the reality show.
“I wanted everyone to know that I have decided not to be a part of Dancing with the Stars this season,” Arnold-Cusick said in an Instagram post. “This has been one of the most difficult decisions to make, but I have finally chosen what I feel is best for me and my family. DWTS has been a part of my life for over 10 years and when I say I love the show with all my heart, I really mean it! This show has changed my life forever and will always mean the world to me.”

EARLIER: Sharna Burgess is opening up about leaving dancing with the stars as the show prepares for its Disney+ debut. The Australian ballroom dancer addressed fans on social media explaining why she won’t be appearing in the 31st season of the competition.
“I have some news that I have to tell you guys because I keep getting a lot of DMs about it,” she began in a series of videos on Instagram Stories. “After long conversations and a lot of thinking and really trying to sit down with what was right, and a lot of talking with Deena Katz, who is our casting director but also a second mother to me, I made the really hard decision not to do this season. of dancing with the stars. Burgess gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Brian Austin Green this year and the professional dancer isn’t ready to stay away from the newborn. However, Ella Burgess hinted that she will be on the reality competition “somehow” and there have been talks about how she could appear herself.
“I am at 100% capacity with my body, I feel fit, I feel strong, I am so ready to dance. I’m about to hit the gym right now,” she continued. “Let’s talk about what that means and how I can be a part of it. [DWTS] but I wasn’t ready to spend a minimum of 10 hours a day away from Zane.”
Burgess noted that she said she would spend 10 hours away from her son “because it’s not just room time, it’s travel time, it’s prep time, it’s hair and makeup time. Sundays and Mondays are full days away. I am a full-time breastfeeding mom and not only that, I am so in love with being a mom.”
