Netflix has showcased its upcoming Indian content in the last hour at the Tudum event, featuring Bollywood director Vasan Bala Monica, oh my love at the show alongside the likes of Ladle Y Weapons and Gulaabs.
India is a huge priority for Netflix and the Tudum event is being used as a starting point.
Bullet Monica, oh my love is a dark crime comedy with an ensemble cast that follows a young man desperately trying to make it big with a group of unlikely allies, and an exclusive clip was shown on Tudum.
In the meantime, Ladle is the Netflix directorial debut for Hansal Mehta, which is inspired by the biography of journalist Jigna Vora Behind bars in Byculla: My days in prisonrecounting her experiences after being accused of murdering a reporter.
And in Guns and Gulaabs, writer-director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK team up for a crime thriller that showcases love and innocence in the context of crime.
Also on display at Tudum were Class, an adaptation of the Spanish show Elite, and comedy Katal.
On the stage, Rana Dagubbati and her uncle Venkatesh Daggubati discussed what it was like to explore father-son relationships on screen at naidu frog and writer-director Vishal Bhardwaj presented a spy thriller Jufiya.
The event takes place around the world and showcases upcoming Netflix shows.
