Probing at Secret Sales | British beauty blogger

[unpaid/affiliate] I signed up for three lifestyle discount sites and happily shopped on all of them, especially during lockdown when I had a bit of a homewares spree. One of them is Secret Sales, the others are Brand Alley and Zalando Lounge, and they certainly throw up some surprises. I sign up for one email a day (otherwise you get bombarded so first priority is to get your preferences set up right) and down and lo and behold, yesterday’s SS email led me to Sosandar discount, which Marks & Spencer has taken as one of its guest brands. I’ve had my eye on this label ever since I started getting brochures a couple of years ago and it certainly lines up with the way I dress. It’s one of the few brands that really understands how older women don’t want to be marginalized by fashion or forced into a particular niche – I think it’s a fit-for-all attitude and I love it. So I’ve rounded up a few dresses that were (conveniently) £69 and are now £48.30 that will easily fit into other seasons and you could easily find me. On the Sosandar website HERE, there’s 20% off everything (at the time of this writing) using the code SMILE, which doesn’t line the dresses I’m featuring because they’re 30% off. After having a disappointing experience with the January sales, my enthusiasm for shopping suddenly skyrocketed.

Sosandar Animal Print Dress

I can quite see myself in this on vacation. It is available in sizes 6-20 HERE. I should also add that their faux leather leggings come in three lengths, which is an attention to detail I’m grateful for at 5ft 3in, although I don’t see myself in faux gold or navy blue :-). I’m not ready for that disco.

Once again, a very easy wear. Add sunglasses, gold bracelets and voila. It is available in sizes 6-18 HERE.

Red Zebra Sosandar

Animal print isn’t going anywhere, so I like how this moves things away from leopard print (lots of those too) a bit with a red zebra. Is HERE in sizes 6-16.

I just checked out a few pieces that caught my eye, but there are plenty of items on both sites: tops, bottoms, dresses, and lounge. I think the brand is careful about necklines, they often offer a cleavage rather than a full plunge, and the sleeves on (most) these dresses are sheer, so they can be worn in hot weather if you prefer to cover your arms. (I go back and forth on this). The main picture little black office party dress is HERE.
