L’amour in the City of Light! Royal brides in Paris It’s already drawn plenty of comparisons to a certain Netflix series about the French capital, but the cast says the two shows couldn’t be more different.
“Emily in Paris It’s obviously much more romantic than Paris really is.” margaux lignel said exclusively us weekly before the premiere of the Bravo program on Monday, September 5. “You will see a more real aspect of that. There will be comparisons, but I hope [viewers] you will truly see what Paris is through my eyes, through [Victoria Zito‘s] eyes through [Adja Toure‘s] eyes, whoever. It’s different through all of our eyes.”
While the cast even has their own Emily, emily gorelikBorn and raised in New Jersey, there are few similarities other than the two women sharing the same first name.
“First of all, I don’t have a hot neighbor living downstairs,” the luxury design management student joked. U.Sreferring to Emily (Lily Collins) Gabriel’s on-and-off love interest (luke bravo). “I think the biggest mistake is the fact that Emily comes in here and things just fall into her lap. “It’s very cliché in the romance sense, or as a business. There are moments like that, but there are a lot of smaller, deeper micro-events that happen here as an American.”
While some of the cast will spend Season 1 looking for love in Paris, Victoria is more focused on her professional life after a recent divorce.
“That was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through in my entire life,” the Texas native told us of their split. “No matter how old you are, a divorce is still a divorce and it’s still a stolen dream.”
Despite the heartbreak, the Chloe Colette designer is grateful for what the breakup taught her about herself. “You really learn who you are and what you want and don’t want out of life and out of a relationship,” she explained.
Anya FirestoneFor her part, she is in the process of planning a wedding with her fiancé, Mathieu Rassett. The tour guide admitted that it was “difficult” for her couple to adjust to life in front of the camera, but she is happy that fans can see the reality of their life together.
“I know a lot of people will say, ‘Oh, this is so fake or staged,'” she said. U.S. “But actually, it felt really good to show people my real self and our real us.”
As with any good reality show, there’s also some occasional tension between the cast, but Emily encouraged viewers to tune in and find out what’s really going on. “With any group of brides, there is always drama,” she explained. “There’s always some kind of gossip, but you’ll have to look and see.”
