Taylor Swift Announces Surprise Album ‘Midnights’ After VMAs

Swifties, assemble! During his Video of the Year acceptance speech at the MTV Music Video Awards, Taylor Swift announced that he would release a new album on October 21. However, fans only had to wait another hour to be enchanted by the excitement of the first look at the album cover of her tenth studio album and the name of the next masterpiece of hers. , midnights. The release of this album would mark his return to original music in two years.

“We stayed up in love and in fear, in confusion and crying,” Taylor wrote in her post announcing the album. “We look at the walls and drink until they respond. Since 2020, Taylor has focused on the “Taylor’s Version” series of re-recordings from his Big Machine catalogue. This new album will be their twelfth album, followed by 9 original studio albums and 2 re-recorded Taylor’s Version albums. Her last two albums, folklore Y Increasingly both were nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys. Taylor won by folklore in 2021. She will be eligible to be nominated for Red (Taylor Version) for 2023. His last release was a single for the soundtrack of the film where the locusts sing called “Caroline”.
