Uniting the family. Kim Kardashian paid a big tribute on her Father’s Day to her ex-husband Kanye West. The SKKN founder created a heartwarming Instagram story as part of the Father’s Day celebrations.
He posted two photos of Kanye and his children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm to his Instagram story on June 19, 2022. “Thank you for being the best father to our babies and loving them the way you do!” she wrote. “Happy Father’s Day Ye.” Kanye and Kim were seen at Ella North’s daughter’s basketball game just a few days earlier, on June 17, 2022, according to TMZ. A source said the former couple “seemed like they were just trying to keep a low profile” as they tried to support North’s game.
The news that the two are supportive parents comes after a series of events in which Kanye slandered Kim’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. In February 2022, Kanye posted a screenshot of a conversation with Pete on his Instagram where he claimed that he would never let Pete meet his children. “Wait [one] day I can meet them and [we can] Everyone be friends,” he wrote. Kim opened up about her relationship with Pete on Hulu’s The Kardashians. The Skims founder recalled how she approached Pete after hosting an episode of saturday night live in 2021. I called the producer at SNL and he said, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number? And they said, ‘Yes.’ He sent her a text message. I wasn’t even thinking, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to have a relationship with him.’ She was just thinking, ‘I heard about this BDE, I need to get out, I need to reactivate my…’ Kim told the cameras with a smile, ‘it was basically DTF.’
