Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus feared for his life after injury

Norman Reedus he is no stranger to narrowly avoiding death.

After all, starring in 11 seasons of The Walking Dead equip a guy with a certain amount of survival insight.

However, when it came to a real-life injury Reedus suffered on the set of the series in March, he wasn’t sure he’d make it out alive.

“Oh man, that was horrible,” Reedus saying entertainment weekly about the incident. “That whole ordeal for me personally was terrifying. I thought I was going to die.”

It was revealed that Reedus had suffered a head injury, though what exactly happened is still unclear.

“Norman suffered a concussion on set,” an AMC spokesperson said in a statement at the time. “He is recovering well and will be back to work soon. Thank you all for your concern for him.”

While Reedus was able to return to work soon after, he now says the immediate aftermath of the injury really scared him.

“It was very serious. It was scary,” he said. “I’ve been hit in the face and head a million times. I’ve been through car windows, but that one caught my eye.”
