“Are you?” The White House is not one or both! They had time on Thursday. On Twitter, the account called out several Republicans, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Mike Kelly and others who have criticized student loan forgiveness. However, Republicans forgot that they were forgiven for their Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. The Biden administration began listing the amount of forgiven loans. The account shared a video of Rep. Greene speaking negatively in a Newsmax interview on Wednesday, saying the debt cancellation was “completely unfair.”
“For our government to just say, you know, ‘Okay, well, your debt is completely forgiven’… it’s completely unfair,” he said.
The White House tweeted: “Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was forgiven $183,504 in PPP loans.” Republican Mike Kelly was also criticized after he tweeted:
“Asking plumbers and carpenters to pay back loans from Wall Street consultants and lawyers is not only unfair. It’s also bad policy.”

The calls did not end there. Matt Gaetz was forgiven $482,321, Congressman Markwaye Mullin was forgiven more than $1.4 million, and Congressman Kevin Hern was forgiven more than $1 million in PPP loans. As we previously reported, estimates show President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced the cancellation of a federal student loan that will waive $10,000 for students earning $125,000 or less a year, a plan that could cost the government $300 billion.
During a recent press conference, President Biden snapped at a reporter who pushed his buttons.
He also clapped after a reporter asked him about the fairness of student loan forgiveness! Roommates, what do you think of the antics of the White House?
