Rumors of gunshots disrupted a Wiz Khalifa concert outside Indianapolis on Friday night, prompting fans to storm out of exits in a panic. Khalifa was forced to prematurely end his performance at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana.
Fans on stage left began running for the exits, causing many others in the large audience to panic. Ruoff Music Center is an outdoor venue with a capacity of nearly 25,000 people, including lawn and ticketed seating.
Three concertgoers were taken to hospital with minor injuries, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Until early Saturday morning it was unknown what caused his injuries.
Police were unable to locate a weapon at the scene.
Rapper Logic opened the show without incident.
